What this quote is trying to say is that when you don't have your goals set you won't go far. You won't go far because you don't know what your goals are. When you have your goals set you know what you are going to do because you can see them.  When you have them were you can see them you  have them as a target in your future. Now you know what two do  in you future. Now you know what to do to make your future better. If you don't have your  mind set to do something you will not do it because you are not focus in what to do. This is why you have to have your gals listed. So you could see were do you want to go. What you want your future to be.
