“Character is higher than intellect” by Ralph Waldo Emerson

What this quote is trying to say is that character is higher than intellect. The reason why is because you could be smart and all but if you use it the wrong way then it is not worth having the intelligence. The reason why is because if you use the intellect that you have in the wrong things you end up in bad things. But if you use it with character , a good character. You will have a brilliant future. It is important for a person to have character because that is what brings you your future. So character is better than intellect. Because without character you can’t become what you want. Character is a very important things in your life and your future. The character that you have becomes your future.
