What this quote is trying to say is that when you try your best that pays off. Meaning that it will give you a better future. But you have to try hard in order for you to be more successful in life. Because if you don't try good things won't come. And without good thing you don't become successful. Only when you try that's when you have the future that you want. When good things come to you a good future will come with it too.
