What this quote is trying to say is that when you do wrong things you will never get a benefit from it. The reason why is because once the truth is revealed everything that was “gained” will be gone. Because everyone will know that you did the wrong thing. In the other hand if you choose the right thing to do you will always get something back. You will always get things that you want. Just because you chose to do the right things.
